Joe Oleskievicz

When Joe wore the uniform he was 17 years old. He came from a very large family and was the youngest of thirteen children.

Oleskievicz never doubted anything, he followed all the steps. He was short but he was in good physical shape.

He started out as a private but McNiece promoted him to corporal and ended up as one of the squad leaders.

Joe fought and survived Normandy, died in Holland, the Germans shot an 88 out of him.
