My name is Rubén, I was born in Spain in 2003. WW2 has fascinated me for years, but it wasn't until I started researching soldiers, stories and curiosities of the war that I discovered the F13.
When I discovered this unit I felt a connection with everything related to them that would last me a lifetime, I began to investigate the unit and each member of it and I realized that there was a lot of wrong information on the internet and in many WW2 books. about them, I was very confused, I did not know who each soldier that appeared in the photos was.
All this created a motivation and an objective for me, it was to discover and investigate the whole truth about them and create a web page that serves as a reference for all those people who want to know the truth about the Filthy Thirteen.
To achieve this, the path has not been easy, I was frustrated, I was angry because I could not find information... but I had a goal and whatever happened I was not going to give up, because the F13 soldiers deserve that all the world knows its true history and stays alive throughout the history of the world.
For this I want to thank all those people who have helped me on this long road, from friends, people with whom I have spoken about the F13 and especially to all the families, friends and circles close to the F13, many thanks to you for talk to me, this website is also thanks to you.
