Jake gets on the C-47 first followed by Ferra and Lonergan. He can be identified as McNiece because he is wearing an identification bracelet given to him by his mother. On D-day she gave the bracelet to Loulip as a good luck charm, as Loulip feared that she would be separated from Jake during the fall. Jake said keep my bracelet, since it's mine, my luck will be with you. Loulip was killed on D-day when Jake went to the tomb search to find Loulip's body and retrieve the bracelet, he found the body but the bracelet had been stolen.
Jake is not taking his diving gear to Normandy, he said he picked up someone else's for filming. This is organized for the Signal Corps filming and not for the Normandy invasion, it was recorded days before the invasion.

After more than a year of research specifically for this topic and with long conversations with relatives of the F13 and some of the writers of their books I was able to create a list showing the possible order they had when jumping from the C-47 to Normandy
